Club Administration Chairman - Larry Hunter Arrange for greeters, sell raffle tickets, see that the meeting room is appropriately arranged and that new members are made to feel comfortable. Telephonic reminders using a "calling tree". Club HistoryChairman - Jerry Korn Document and publish accomplishments of Capital City Kiwanis Club and members, enhance our feeling of fellowship, educate new members and remind current members about our contributions to our community and our traditions. Community ServicesChairman - Beth Gaertner Plan and implement projects to respond to the needs of our community. Human and Spiritual ValuesChair - Kathie Seideman Focus on issues involving ethics, values and family. Finance and Fund-RaisingChairman - Nanci Dunbar Responsible for the financial well-being of Capital City Kiwanis Club, secures funds necessary to meet approved budget, develops and administers fund-raising projects. Interclub RelationsChairman - Elizabeth Stoneman Schedules interclub visits so our members can maintain contact with other Kiwanians. Such visits facilitate working toward common goals in our communities. Membership Growth, Eduction and RetentionChair - Steve Fredriksen Oversees membership development and retention of current members. Responsible for ongoing recruitment, education and induction of new members and monitors club operations to keep member satisfaction high and all members involved. Public Relations, Marketing and Social ActivitiesChair - Nancy Halliwell Ensure that the community receives through the media and other means the objects, goals, programs and achievements of Capital City Kiwanis. Organizes social activities. Sponsored YouthChair - Kim Knowlton Establish and support K Kids clubs in elementary schools, Builders Clubs in junior high schools and Key Clubs in high schools. Committee members automatically include Capital City Kiwanis Club advisors to the sponsored schools. ProgramsChair - Jeremy Parkinson and Jessie Leib Responsible for interesting and timely speakers/programs at our weekly club meetings. Young Children Priority OneChair - Jennifer Matoske Implement projects to assist young children age 5 and below. IDD is the Kiwanis International project. Youth ServicesChair - Cindy Clancy Plan and implement projects that serve children age 6 and above. Example: kids camp on Cascade Lake. |
